“ All in all, we all loved it. It's amazing how animals actually have their habitat replicated where they can leave freely and the zoo itself is well maintained. It's amazing that you can't smell any foul smell knowing that there are a lot of animals there. Happy customer.
It was a good experience, and the best part was the tiger and lion.
If you are ready to walk and this is the place for your to explore a lot and will also reduce your calories. Go on a sunny day when it is less windy so that we can enjoy. Open kangaroos would have been added advantage but I could not get a chance to see them. They may include some electric vehicles for those who have trouble with too much walking.
5 months agoFirst zoo experience where the zoo is so close to the water
The Taronga Zoo is located close to the Sydney Harbour and is accessible by Ferry, Bus etc. There are many native species including the Koalas, Panda etc and the Sumantra Tiger trail was superb. Even the shows were well conducted especially the seal show, bird show etc
5 months agoIt was a memory to be treasured. We surprised our little boy for his 7th birthday and his reaction was priceless. Thank you for helping us. Even my parents liked and enjoyed it there.

6 months agoJust pay at the door rather than using the site. It's cheaper and easier.
I spent 30 minutes trying to make the online checkout work. It would just freeze. Tried multiple browsers. We eventually got through but it removed the discount code, leaving the Experience Oz price higher than the price at the door. The zoo itself is nice.
7 months agoA wonderful experience but start from the top and work your way down.
Didn’t realise the zoo was open on Christmas Day, only found out incidentally while driving around sightseeing. Wonderful family experience with gorgeous harbour views. The animals are extremely well kept and some just looked like they were putting on a show for us. Good variety of souvenirs in the shop.
11 months agoTaronga Zoo - to go or not to go is the question!!
I am from Brisbane and having been to Australia Zoo, I feel Australia Zoo has more to offer, except I loved the sky safari, but that can be a bit of a wait. If you haven’t been to a zoo, it is still worth going, but if you have not long gone to Australia Zoo, I feel you might be disappointed.
11 months agoExcellent staff and information sessions. Caught the ferry over and the sky rail up. Great day and easy with the experience Oz vouchers we had no trouble getting in at all. Would definitely recommend it for all families
Great day out. Lots to see and the kids had a ball. Just a lot of walking would definitively go again. Would like it if there were lockers you could hire to put stuff in though as we had to take wet weather gear for predicted rain. It wasn’t too busy considering it was school holidays and everyone was very friendly

Amazing animals in beautiful enclosures. One of the better zoos! Staff are friendly and approachable. They are full of knowledge and love the animals very much. There are two cafes and a restaurant. Food is decent for a zoo. Coffee is average. Accomodation is on site too.

What an amazing family day out. The kids had a ball and so did us. Can't wait to make another fun day adventure to the zoo in a few more months. The food prices are crazy but were expected. Kids favourite part was the lift and keep asking to go to Sydney just for that lift.

It is a great day out for the family. There are some areas that are having construction done but they still have plenty to see. The time table of the talks on the animals is fantastic. It's one great trip to do out on the school holidays.
