You're in for a great family outing at Sydney Aquarium; the aquarium features an abundance of unique marine animals showcased in multiple stunning exhibits helping make SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium one of the best attractions in Sydney. Witness sharks, stingrays, dugongs, even Australia's own duck-billed platypus for a great day out.
Featuring a glass walk-through tunnel, that lets you feel like you're in the exhibit with the animals, and the brand new, world-first penguin exhibit. The Penguin Expedition is the newest addition to the aquarium and features a continuous chain of boats floating through the King and Gentoo Penguin colony enclosures. Allowing guests to get up close and personal in groups of eight, the exhibit is only all day every day and is included in the admission price.
With not only exhibits but also a variety of daily shows, there is so much to do at Sydney SEA LIFE Aquarium. Lovers of all things aquatic will be well in their element with a visit to this popular Darling Harbour attraction no matter their age. - South Coast Shipwreck area is where you discover a vast array of animals native to the Southern Oceans. Some of the animals you will see include Little Penguins, Port Jackson Sharks and Moon Jellies
- Jurassic Seas allows you to explore the depths of the ocean and see where life began and meet weird and wonderful living fossils. Some of the animals you will see include Nautilus, Lungfish and Peacock Mantis Shrimp
- Sydney Harbour area zone provides a snapshot of what lies beneath one of the most iconic harbours in the world. Some of the animals you will see include Silver Sweep, Mado and Cuttlefish
- Dugong Island home to a pair of dugongs and other amazing animals including White Spotted Eagle Rays, various shark species and dozens of species of fish
- Shark Valley walk over some of the world's biggest aquarium sharks then journey deep under the sea and explore the depths of Shark Valley. Some of the animals you will see include Grey Nurse Shark, Sicklefin lemon Shark and the huge Queensland Groper
- Discovery Rockpool is where you can see and touch stars, shark eggs, shells and coral

- To make the most of your visit, we recommend allowing at least 90 minutes to walk through the attraction

The staff was really great at telling the story of Pig the dugong and how he got rescued. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone visiting Sydney.
Sydney SEA LIFE is our favourite aquarium to visit in Australia

Our experience was amazing, my kids enjoyed seeing the sharks, and fish and we all loved the penguin exhibit! The joy and excitement on my kid’s faces was priceless and the memories will be remembered, oh the jellyfish were also very cool! We totally recommend going there, you won’t regret it!
2 months agoThe booking procedure was really easy and quick. Just one click and I received an email with my ticket to enter the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium. As we entered the admission area, we didn’t encounter any issues.

2 months agoA lot to see and experience was a lot of fun, totally worthwhile.
Was amazing, it was a really magical experience. So much larger than I expected. Pig the Dugong was so cute and great to see him play and frolic. The sharks were also great to see, the tanks were so well laid out so you could see everything from any angle.
3 months agoLots of fun, friendly staff. Would be great if the aquarium could match Toronto, in terms of the number of animals and renovation.
Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable staff. Lots of animals to watch. The Penguin ride is very nice but feels like a quarter of a 100m race. The tunnel viewing was nice but feels a bit dated. Especially for those who had been to Toronto's Sea Aquarium would be disappointed. Got to see some unique and amazing animals like the Dugong, King Penguins and Gentoo Penguins. Still love the Sealife Aquarium a lot and had a lot of fun. Spent almost 4 hours there.

Been a few times to the aquarium and each time is always enjoyable. Lots of different marine life and the tanks/enclosures are very detailed and spacious. Really nice to walk around and learn new things about marine life and our oceans. Kids loved it as well!
5 months agoThis was my first time seeing this exuberance of sea creatures. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Sydney.
A very memorable day at SEA LIFE. This place is full of wonderful things to explore and to experience. It’s so much bigger inside than you expect and it doesn’t disappoint. Thank you Experience Oz, you guys are great... Extremely rewarding, and I highly recommend this.
5 months agoWell set out and easy to find everything - all the sea animals.
The kids love the aquarium, especially the sting rays. The cost is a bit much for what it is and how fast you can move through it. But it was a nice morning out. The Cafe was lovely and had very kid-friendly food. Love that it is on the harbour's edge to make the day a bit longer.

Great day out with the family, would recommend to everyone who is looking for something to do with the family, we had a later booking and decided to come earlier they were more than accommodating to adjust our timing so we could enter as soon as we got there
