“ We booked a 3-hour whale watching tour from Sydney for 2 adults and 2 children (2 + 4 years old) via Experience Oz with FantaSea Adventures. We had nice weather with a relatively calm ocean, just some rouge waves. On our tour, we have seen several humpback whales and even 2 or 3 dolphins. It was fantastic!

3 months agoIt was a very amazing experience we got to see 2 whales one male and female unfortunately we spotted just the tail and back but not the face hopefully next time we get a sight of face. The cruise was amazing so clean inside out and one suggestion to everyone if you want to see the exact spot where whales arrive then follow the photographer.
1 year agoAnother great experience; in terms of value, timing, professionalism and meeting expectation. Maybe it was our lucky day, that managed to see few groups of whales wandering along, some even following us on way in-shore back to Sydney; some waving their wing to us; the only thing we did not see was jumping out of water.
4 years agoThe sea was strong. Because of that, I felt seasick. But watching the whales and the staff were wonderful. I took photos and videos of the whales and the whales were near the boat because the videos were good. I loved the trip. I just don't love the sea sickness.
4 years agoWe took the Sydney Whale Watching tour. The experience was amazing but we couldn't spot many whales on the tour. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The boat was very clean. The views from the top deck were amazing. Highly recommend this cruise!!
5 years agoThe Whale watching tour was really good. Was a really good amount of time - not too short. Really good view of the whales and was even taken to see some seals which I was not expecting. I didn't have the restaurant lunch so can't comment on that. Would definitely recommend booking. The view of the Opera House and Harbour ridge was also amazing.
5 years agoIt was great experience. We were lucky to see a couple of whales, a mother and its calf. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
6 years agoWe had a fantastic time on the whale watching cruise. The weather was superb and the boat journey through Sydney harbour and out through the heads was stunning. We already felt we had value for money. Then when we saw majestic whales breaching for most of the time we were out looking, it became an experience to remember. A great outing for tourists and locals. My only criticism would be that the commentary was hard to hear if you were upstairs.
6 years agoDid a Whale watching cruise from Sydney. Had booked with Fantasea cruises through Experience Oz in June. Great experience and saw many humpback whales (and dolphins also). And luckily a whale tried to mug us on our way back which was amazing (to get a close look at them). And yeah Fantasea team did a great job in finding the perfect locations in the sea and the live commentary was pretty informative. Would definitely recommend this cruise and the agent.
