Opening hours for Taronga Zoo are 9.30am-4.30pm
Ferries to Taronga Zoo depart Circular Quay Wharf 6 at regular intervals throughout the day. Your booking is valid on any scheduled ferry time for the date you have booked, simply show up and present your voucher for your preferred ferry departure
Ferry times are subject to change without notice and it is recommended to reconfirm them with the ferry operator prior to departure
Please arrive for ferry check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your ferry departure at Circular Quay Wharf 6
Operates Wednesday – Sunday during school holidays

FAQs

What happens if I have booked a date for this pass, but wish to go on a different date?

As long as you present your voucher to the Captain Cook office any day prior to your planned date, they will be able to swap this for you. If you wish to go on a later date, please contact our friendly reservations team and we will amend the booking date for you

Additional Information

Children must travel with a parent or guardian that is 18 years or over
Please note all guests must enter via the main entrance until further notice. Guests arriving by ferry will need to take the bus up to the main entrance (at own expense). Zoo tickets are not available at Taronga Zoo entry. *All tickets must be pre-purchased

“ Taronga zoo was fantastic! Really enjoyed the wide selection of animals and views of the city from across the water. And the ferry ride around the harbour was a wonderful way to spent the afternoon! Everything was wonderful, and I would absolutely recommend to all others!

Taronga zoo is a beautiful place for visitors wanting to see animals

Taronga zoo is a beautiful place for visitors wanting to see animals, the only thing l am complaining is due to the remodelling of some parts. also l couldn't read the map properly as a result l expended more time there than l expected.

we have amazing trip to see the zoo with a package of ferry trips from Circular Quay

we have amazing trip to see the zoo with a package of ferry trips from Circular Quay. It was interesting experience as the ferry offers 24 hour. Which mean that I can go to the other location such as manly beach, luna park, and darling harbour in 1 day. We took lots of photos during our trip on to p of ferries. the deal is really good. I would seek similar deal from Experience OZ when visiting other places.

Taronga Zoo including 24hr Hop On Hop Off Ferry Pass was a great trip. It would have been better if the Hop On Hop Off Ferry Pass was a 36hr pass, because we spent the day at the Zoo, it meant using the Ferry pass to see other places was very limited.

My niece and I visited Taronga zoo yesterday

My niece and I visited Taronga zoo yesterday. It was absolutely amazing! The setting is beautiful and the animals are so close you could almost touch them. A zoo volunteer approached us when we got there as we were looking at the map trying to plan where to go first and offered to help. She ended up walking us through two major areas and giving us really cool information and answering our questions. It was like having a personal tour guide without paying anything. She left us to go "play with the bunnies" in the kids area but ran into us later and walked with us again. I wish I had gotten her name. We decided to just call her our "zoo angel." I highly recommend everyone to visit this incredible zoo. We had a little trouble finding the ferry at Circular quay and then it was 35 minutes late which cut into our zoo time. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Great experience for me and hubby who are both Sydneysiders to take our 4 visitors from Philippines. All of us enjoyed the cruise and trip. I lost 1 trip ticket out in Taronga Zoo and in just 1 call I got my voucher via email. Great service.
