“ A great experience. Very well organised and informative. Our tour guide was full of a wealth of knowledge, interesting facts and even went out of her way to let us see the final Joan Sutherland theatre which was in use until our tour ended, so she stayed with us later to let us in after our tour slot. Would recommend.
This hour long tour is very informative. There were twenty of us, and we were lucky enough to have a very good guide. Being the Opera House, there are lots of steps to be climbed, but they are not onerous, spaced out, some up, some down. The history is related, both verbally and through short videos. And, of course, the views are magnificent. The only downside was not being able to take photos inside the different theatres, but that was really a minor issue.

4 years agoWe really enjoyed the tour, especially going into the biggest theatre. Our guide was very informative and added her humour along the way. It was great having the headphones so it was really easy to hear everything she said. The architecture of the building is just so amazing.
4 years agoI would definitely recommend this tour to both Australians and international travellers. The Sydney Opera House is truly a modern marvel and architectural feat... and the project was nearly abandoned. You will learn about this and more during the guided 1 hour tour which takes you behind the scenes into the various foyers with stunning views of the harbour. The highlight was sitting inside three venues - the Joan Sutherland Theatre, Playhouse and the Concert Hall which is sometimes not possible. On the day, they were setting up for a concert in the Concert Hall so we couldn't take photos but were still allowed in the venue. One thing people should be mindful of though is that there are a lot of stairs throughout the tour so do keep that in mind when booking this tour.
5 years agoThis tour is a five star and an essential for anyone in Sydney whether being a tourist or a resident. It was absolutely fascinating and so interesting. We even got to see the Sydney Symphony Orchestra practising. Our tour guide was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

5 years agoThe kids didn’t think they would enjoy this but they did. I loved learning about the opera house and the building process. I have shared my experience with family and highly suggest everyone to do a tour. You appreciate the building more when you know all about it.
5 years agoWe made this tour and it was so amazing. The guide explained to us some of the history of the Opera house building and it was so interesting. The tour was 1 hour time and we really enjoyed it.
5 years agoWe had such a lovely day at the Opera House with my mom but I assume maybe add some more details and also visiting more parts of opera house can make this tour fantastic, I really liked It but also I prefer to have this chance to get some artistic photo in some parts. Thanks, Experience Oz for this lovely evening.
